Our Mission

Unsilenced: Rising Above Coercive Control is a community-driven initiative committed to ending the cycle of coercive control, which is a form of domestic violence with a pattern of acts of assault, threats, humiliation and intimidation or other abuse that is used to harm, punish, or frighten their victim. We believe that knowledge is power, and we strive to educate and empower survivors, allies, and professionals through research-based resources, awareness campaigns, and comprehensive support services. Our mission is to create a world where everyone is free from the grip of coercive control.

Our Partner - WomensV

After a conversation with founder of WomenSV, Ruth Darlene, I knew I wanted to partner with her to raise money for her goals of empowering survivors, training professionals to detect domestic violence, and educating the larger community. WomenSV is also based in Silicon Valley, an affluent area. However, it is crucial to understand that living in an affluent area, in a big house, does not guarantee a happy and safe home life. Therefore, it was my goal to help fundraise for WomenSV and their mission to create a safe home life for everyone. Donated money has gone towards professional training, and forming more resources for survivors of this insidious crime. Thank you to everyone who generously donated to this cause.
